We’re writing to let you know that we've updated our legal terms to reflect how Framer works today. We also made changes to ensure our terms are clear and easy to understand.

Here are the main changes:

    Terms of Service. We’ve reworded these for clarity and added new sections, including how affiliates can use Framer and how purchases through resellers work. You can read them here.

    Data Processing Addendum. We’ve added a comprehensive security annex, including references to our certifications reinforced (ISO 27001:2022 and SOC 2 Type 2), reinforced our cross-border data transfer mechanisms, and set out a clearer data breach notification process. You can read it here.

    Privacy Statement. We’ve clarified Framer's roles and responsibilities towards the different types of users of Framer, set out specific data retention periods, and explained your privacy rights and how to exercise them in more detail. You can read it here.

    Cookie Statement. You can now see every cookie we use, its purpose, duration, and whether it needs your consent - along with clearer options for managing your preferences. You can read it here.

    AI Notice. This is new. Our AI Notice explains how we use AI across Framer, the safeguards we apply, and everyone’s responsibilities. It also covers how inputs and outputs may be used. You can read it here.

These changes take effect on June 16, 2026. We encourage you to review what’s relevant to your use of Framer. We’re always working to be more transparent. If anything is unclear or you have questions, just reach out at legal@framer.com.
